A Romantic Garden Wedding at Linden Place

Some love stories begin exactly where they’re meant to, even when neither person planned on being there. Jared and Grace first met at a Christmas-themed party they almost skipped, and from the moment they locked eyes across the room, something clicked. What started as an effortless conversation quickly turned into a connection that felt seamless, natural, and meant to be.

Just days later, their first date took place along the Narragansett Sea Wall… A windy, laughter-filled walk by the water that perfectly reflected what would become a defining part of their relationship: joy, ease, and a shared love for the ocean. By the end of the walk, both of them knew this was something special.

A Meaningful Proposal Rooted in Home

When it came time to propose, Jared chose Black Point Park, a place woven into their everyday life while dating. Thoughtfully located between Rhode Island Avenue and Pennsylvania Avenue, the spot symbolized both of their roots: Grace, born and raised in Rhode Island, and Jared, originally from Pennsylvania. After the proposal, Grace’s sister emerged from her hiding spot to capture the moment, followed by a joyful celebration with both families in Newport. It was intimate, intentional, and full of heart.

A September Wedding at Linden Place in Bristol, Rhode Island

On September 20th, Jared and Grace said “I do” at the historic Linden Place in Bristol, Rhode Island, a venue that perfectly matched their romantic, classic vision.

Grace spent the morning getting ready at a stunning beach house with direct ocean access, surrounded by her bridesmaids and her mom. She wore a Stella York gown that felt timeless and elegant, effortlessly complementing the coastal setting.

Before the ceremony, the couple chose to share a first look behind the mansion with the back deck as their backdrop. Followed a private moment to soak in their first sight one each other, they went inside to read their private vows inside the historic mansion. This was an emotional, intimate moment that allowed them to slow down and be fully present together before the day unfolded.

A Garden Ceremony & Joyful Celebration

Their ceremony took place on the sunlit garden lawn, where family and friends gathered to witness Jared and Grace exchange vows. The recessional ended with a dramatic dip at the end of the aisle… an epic moment that perfectly captured their playful, joyful energy.

Cocktail hour followed outdoors, featuring a champagne tower that invited guests to toast alongside the couple. Laughter, clinking glasses, and golden September light set the tone for the evening.

Inside the ballroom, Linden Place was transformed into a romantic reception space filled with wildflowers and soft shades of champagne and white. Bistro lighting glowed above the dance floor as guests celebrated late into the night, creating an atmosphere that felt warm, inviting, and deeply personal.

A Day Focused on What Matters Most

Above all, Jared and Grace were most excited about one thing: having their families and friends together in one place, celebrating their love and the beginning of their marriage. From the quiet intimacy of their private vows to the joy of their first married kiss, their wedding day was a reflection of everything that makes their relationship so special; connection, ease, and genuine love.

Jared and Grace, your wedding day was an absolute honor to capture. Your love story is one that feels both timeless and deeply personal, and Linden Place was the perfect backdrop for the start of this next chapter together 🤍
