Both avid outdoor enthusiasts, we chose the name Salt & Stone Photography as a heartfelt nod to our shared love of the natural world and its inherent beauty.
For Shannon, the ocean represents peace and perspective, while for Andrew, hiking mountains offers the perfect escape from the hustle of everyday life.
Salt symbolizes Shannon’s connection to the sea, and Stone reflects Andrew’s passion for the mountains.
together, they represent the balance and harmony we strive to bring into every wedding we capture.

I am so excited to meet you! I've been photographing weddings since 2014. While I love the craft of creating timeless portraiture my passion lies within the more personal side of this business. I adore getting to know my clients and treating them to an elevated experience that leaves them feeling just as good as they look in their photographs.

For me, photography is about celebrating life, every moment big and small! I believe authenticity is beautiful, I'm inspired by human connection & genuine love stories.

All seriousness; I am the lucky guy who gets to be her partner in both life and business. I’m also a full time firefighter, proud father, outdoor enthusiast and dog lover.

I find joy in the little things in life and I love to make people laugh. You can count on me to lighten the mood and make being in front of the camera easier. We always have a good time.

What if I told you that it was love at first sight? If that sounds crazy, it's true... just watch our wedding video and you'll hear we both mentioned it in our vows.

We're both hopeless romantics and you you'll probably pick up on that pretty quickly... it's what makes us such great wedding photographers.😉

We're also proud parents to two beautiful and brilliant little girls. Our little family wouldn't be complete without our fur baby Liberty our lovable Golden Retriever.

When we're not behind the camera (or at the station) we prioritize spending quality time with our families and getting plenty fresh air on a trail somewhere or out in the kayaks. The best marital advice we've received is to never stop dating each other... so we try our best to make weekly date nights a priority, even if that's just snuggled on the couch watching our favorite shows with some great take out!

Making a house our home

Andrew popped the question on the red rock cliffs of Sedona. We took a 4X4 ride in a jeep up to the outlook of Carousel Rock, the moment was pure perfection... and the best part is we captured it all on camera (thanks to our amazing photographer Hailey).

HOW HE ASKED

We tied the knot in 2020 (yep, in the middle of the pandemic) at our favorite hotel, Mountain View Grand in Whitefield NH. We planned a super intimate Ceremony and reception with just 27 of our closest family and friends. And honeymooned in Disney World. We adore the fellow hubby + wife team who captured these moments for us... The Ewings.

Parents + Small Business Owners are just a few of the titles we're proud to be called. Giving back to our communities is a huge part of who we are.

With a background and passion for education Shannon gives back to her community through mentorship opportunities.

Andrew, has proudly served as a full time Fireman + EMT for the city of Woonsocket for almost a decade. Serving on the Honor Guard and Hazmat team.

TRAVELLED TO

Our travel plans usually end up looking more like adventure than vacations... bringing us to places like South Africa, Alaska, the Olympic State Forest and Zion National Park. Our bucket list places include Australia + New Zealand, Switzerland and Italy to name a few.

MAKING A HOUSE A HOME

Sometimes we like to pretend we're Rhode Island's version of Chip and Jo. Shannon is the creative visionary that dreams up what our spaces will look like and Andrew is the real life human version of a Swiss Army Knife making every dream a reality.
