The Red Lion Inn

The Red Lion Inn is a rustic wedding venue located in Cohasset MA. Nestled in the heart of the SouthShore, this 300 year old property is home to a workin Inn, sprawling grounds of lush gardens and a beautifully maintained, rustic-chic New England Barn. The inn welcomes you and your guest to enjoy your wedding weekend at Red Lion and stay in one of their 15 comfortably appointed guest rooms.

Event Spaces: 

The Barn 

The Barn is the perfect mix of rustic charm and elegance featuring multiple crystal chandeliers, polished hardwood floors and a mezzanine level overlooking the dancefloor. The Barn offers enough space to comfortably host up to 280 guests seated for dinner and dancing or 400 for a cocktail style reception.

The Hillside House

The hillside house is the perfect setting for your rehearsal dinner and intimate receptions. Recently restored to its original charm, this modern rustic space sits atop a hill overlooking Cohasset Village. The Hillside House accommodates up to 120 guests for dinner and dancing and up to 200 for a cocktail style reception.

The Cave

The Cave, a dimly lit speakeasy is located underneath The Red Lion Inn and features a large bar, a one-of-a-kind wine cellar, and an entertainment stage. This space is perfect for an intimate private dinner or after-party and can accommodate up to 60 guests.

The Tavern

The Tavern is a cozy yet sophisticated space offering a number of dining rooms and an outdoor patio perfect for your farewell brunch. Each space has a wood-burning fireplace and charming accents.

Catering 

The culinary team at the Red Lion Inn and Barn offers exquisite in- house catering options, from buffets, passed hors d’oeuvres, plated service, dinner stations, and more. Choose  from a customized bar package, and create a truly exceptional menu for your big day . 

Investment

The starting site fee for the Red Lion Inn is $3,500 and the starting ceremony fee is $2,500. This does not include catering costs or additional services.
