OceanCliff, the symbol of a luxury oceanfront wedding venue, is located on 10 acres of rolling lawns overlooking Narragansett Bay. The massive stone estate houses an impressive 24 uniquely sized guest rooms, each furnished with luxury and comfort in mind. The event spaces at OceanCliff range from a stunning ballroom with panoramic views of the ocean to multiple outdoor spaces like the tented upper deck and the patio + lawn just outside the outdoor ceremony space.  

Event Spaces:

The Grand Ballroom

The Grand Ballroom comfortably seats up to 230 guests for dinner and dancing. Sunlight pours through the oversized windows illuminating the unique architecture inside the newly renovated ballroom. Just before the ballroom are three smaller rooms. The entrance to the ballroom welcomes your guests through a beautiful entryway as they pass an impressive Marble fireplace. Adjacent to this welcome room is a private room for the bridal party and a room with a full-service bar tucked in the corner. 

The Outdoor Ceremony Space + Patio Space

Outside the ballroom steps away from the ceremony space is an outdoor patio complete with an outdoor bar. The patio space brings you to the rolling green lawn and several Adirondack chairs perfect for soaking in the Newport sun and relaxing in the ocean breeze. Beyond the patio lies a beautifully constructed pergola that serves as the centerpiece for the ceremony location. The Pergola sits against picturesque ocean views and views of the Newport Bridge.     

The OceanCliff Upper Deck 

The upper deck overlooking Narragansett Bay is covered by a 40’x60’ tent opening up to an open-air deck. This tented deck is a popular location for cocktail hour and rehearsal dinners. The OceanCliff Upper Deck can comfortably seat up to 150 guests.

Catering: In-house catering and bar services bring delectable bites and sophisticated service to every dining experience at OceanCliff. With mouthwatering entrees like their Slow Braised Short Ribs and Herb Crusted Filet Mignon and famously popular passed hors D’oeuvres Like the Crab Cake Bites and their Chicken Tikka Kebabs and of course local favorites such as Lobster Salad and New England Clam Chowder Shooters.

OceanCliff is one of Newport’s most popular venues, if you have a date in mind, you should reach out early to confirm availability. Newport hosts several festivals and events throughout the busier season, room blocks can fill up rather quickly. Pro tip: talk to your wedding planner about securing room blocks early.
