Greenvale Vineyards

Greenvale Vineyards is the perfect location for couples who desire a waterfront venue that also wish to tie the knot at a picturesque vineyard. This sixth generation farm in Portsmouth RI, is known for their award winning, estate-grown wines, their breathtaking views of the Sakonnet River and their swoon worthy wedding celebrations. Greenvale vineyards offer multiple sites and packages to help their couples plan their perfect day. 

Event spaces: 

The Restored Stable + Tasting Room

The historic horse stable built in 1863 has been restored into a beautifully designed tasting room and event space, and is the shining star of the vineyard. This quaint room offers seating for up to 49 people making it the perfect space for smaller weddings and intimate rehearsal dinners. The Stable is available Sunday-Friday, for events from 6:00pm to 10:00pm. 

The fee for the restored stable is $3,500. 

The Vineyard Tent Site

The Vineyard Tent Site is located between the vineyards Pinot Gris and Cayuga vines offering panoramic views of the vineyard, distant water views. It also offers access to the Restored Stable for cocktails while wedding photos are being taken at the Ceremony Site. Event hours are from 6:00pm to 10:00pm

The fee for the Vineyard Tent Site is $6500.

The Waterview Tent Site

The Waterview Tent Site offers breathtaking views over the Chardonnay vines to the Sakonnet River, located just below the Cabernet Franc vineyard. This site allows use of the ceremony site that is closer to the water.  Event hours are from 6:00pm to 10:00pm

The fee for the Waterview Tent Site is $9000.

The Waterside Tent Site

No location offers better views of the water than at the Waterside Tent Site. This site sits on the front lawn of the main house bringing you right to the banks of the Sakonnet River. Rental of the Waterside site includes the option of the Chardonnay Ceremony site or a Ceremony site located on the front lawn of the main house, available for four hour time periods. 

The fee for the Waterside Tent Site is $11,500

Ceremony Site: 

In the heart of the Chardonnay vineyards sits the most romantic ceremony site, with sweeping views of the Sakonnet River and the beautiful farmland of Tiverton and Little Compton across the River. Proceed down the aisle made between the Chardonnay and the Old Vine Chardonnay vineyards for a dramatic entry before you exchange vows. Ceremony start time is 5:30. This site is only available to couples hosting their receptions at the vineyard as well. 

The fee for the ceremony site is $900.

Catering:

Greenvale Vineyards requires outside catering. They have a preferred vendor list that includes; Blackstone Caterers, The Catered Affair, Emery’s Catering, Glorious Affairs, McGrath Clambakes, Inc., Russell Morin Catering & Events, and Tom’s Market Glenn Place.

The Investment

Investment level varies based on the selected venue spaces. Estimated starting costs range from $3,500 – $11,500. There is also a $900 ceremony site fee.
