Coastal Warwick Country Club Wedding

Lauren and Ryan were married at Warwick Country Club. They’re wedding featured an oceanfront outdoor ceremony, Rhode Island themed treats like a Newport Creamery ice-cream truck, and lots and lots of love and laughter.

Love Story

Lauren a woman from New York and Ryan a man from Rhode Island met through friends on a late summer night when Lauren was visiting friends in Maryland. The time gave them the opportunity to have some pretty non-traditional first dates, like the Navy College Football game and an Indie Car Race in Baltimore. The early days of their relationship were long distance, but the miles apart were never an issue for these two love birds.

Lauren was first attracted to Ryan’s smile and his sense of humor and Ryan was attracted to Lauren’s eyes and her sweet personality. Their love grew over time… Lauren realized how much she was falling for him one afternoon while riding the train an hour and a half to see him.

When we asked Lauren and Ryan what they remembered about falling in love, Ryan said he fell in love with Lauren’s pure heart. Lauren said she admired Ryan’s laid back personality and his great relationship with his parents. Six years into the relationship, Lauren and Ryan enjoyed a nice evening together seeing a play in the city and followed by a surprise proposal at the top of of Rockefeller Center. It was the perfect New York City engagement.

Wedding Day

On a warm New England spring day, we arrived in Warwick, Rhode Island to Ryan’s parents’ beautiful estate, where Lauren and her girls were getting ready. They were listening to early 2000’s pop, and the ladies were putting their final touches on their hair and make up. Lauren’s wedding dress was a soft organza Allure ballgown. Her look was completed with cathedral length veil. She was truly breathtaking in her princess ballgown.

Once all the girls were ready we headed off to a local park… Rocky Point Park a place of fond memories for many Rhode Islanders. Lauren and her girls made the most beautiful Bridal party. The bridesmaids looked stunning in their navy blue dresses from Majesty Bridal, the flowers girls were adorable in their big tulle gowns. Lauren’s dress blew in the wind in the most etherial way… a photographers dream.

Ryan and his groomsmen were getting ready at Warwick Country Club, after suiting up they enjoyed a round of golf on their beautiful greens over looking the ocean. Ryans smile lit up the room, it was going to be a great day!

Ceremony

Ryan and Lauren chose to keep it traditional and not see each other before the ceremony. As Lauren made her way down the rose petal lined aisle every head turned to see the beautiful bride. Ryan was overcome with emotion, finally his bride met him at the top of the aisle under a gorgeous flower-covered archway. They exchanged their hand written vows on the lawn of Warwick Country Club, against the backdrop of the Atlantic Ocean. There was not a dry eye in the crowd. As the justice of the peace announced them Husband and Wife, Ryan dipped Lauren for their first kiss.

Reception

The ballroom at Warwick Country Club, really allows you to enjoy the outdoors while indoors, with panoramic views of the ocean. The couple had a cream and blush palette for their centerpieces and wedding decor, which made the room feel so bright and airy.

Lauren and Ryan entered their reception in true New England style, with the theme song of the New England Patriots, where Lauren passed Ryan a football! We were all impressed with Lauren’s arm.

The night couldn’t have been more amazing. After dancing the night away their guests were treated to a yummy surprise… a visit by the Newport Creamy Truck for Rode Island’s famous Awful Awful’s and ice cream cones. It was a sweet ending to an even sweeter day. Lauren and Ryan sure know how to throw a party.
