The Graduate Providence

Debuting in 1922, the Graduate Providence, formerly the Biltmore Hotel, is home to one of the most historical and elegant wedding venues in Providence Rhode Island. In the heart of downtown Providence, this historic hotel offers impressive and unique event spaces as well as stunning portrait locations, reminiscent of a bygone era. 

Event Spaces:

The Biltmore Ballroom: The Biltmore Ballroom is the Graduate’s premier ballroom, at 4,212 sq ft this opulent ballroom holds up to 500 guests, and boasts breathtaking views of the city. The ballroom sits on the 17th floor and is truly a sight to be seen at dusk when the deep blue tones of the evening sky contrast beautifully against the ornate golden ceiling and warm tones of the lavish decor.  

The Capital Ballroom: The Capital Ballroom, residing on the second floor next to the Mayor’s Suite and Atrium Balcony, is just steps away from the iconic staircase and golden glass elevator. It is the perfect event space for slightly smaller gatherings with the ability to accommodate up to 300 guests. The classic design of this ballroom features a beautifully embellished high ceiling with hanging crystal chandeliers on either end.  

The Graduate Boardroom: This posh boardroom features textured green wallpaper, and  room to accommodate 30. This  can be used as a unique pre-function space, and is a popular room for the groomsmen. The Graduate Boardroom looks out onto the Parkview Terrace. 

The Parkview Terrace: The Parkview terrace is a customizable space that offers sweeping views of the city skyline and can accommodate up to 175 guests. 

The L’Apogee Room: The L’Apogee room is divided into three smaller areas. The L’Apogee Reception Area with a capacity of 75, L’Apogee A with a capacity of 10, and L’Apogee B with a capacity of another 75, these three spaces can be combined as one space with a total square footage of 1.880 sq ft. accommodating up to 160 guests. This room overlooks the city below and boasts views of the State House. 

The Summit: The Summit, found on the 18th floor offers stellar views of the city below, and features unique and vibrate tones in this bright and airy space. Similar to the layout of the L’Apogee Room, this room is also divided into three sub rooms. Combined together the rooms total 1,040 sq ft in space and can accommodate up to 70. 

The Atrium Balcony: The Atrium Balcony, located on the second floor and overlooks the grand staircase and glass elevator. Providing 1,800sq ft in space this option can accommodate up to 150 guests.  

Catering: In-house catering is provided by the outstanding culinary team at the Graduate. With options for buffet style, dinner stations, customized menus, and decadent desserts, you and your guests are sure to enjoy a unique and delicious dining experience. 

Investment: According to Wedding Wire the starting level investment for the rental fee is $3,000 and $750 for the ceremony fee. This investment does not include catering cost or additional services.
