Kilburn Mill

Kilburn Mill is a historic waterfront wedding venue located in the historic coastal city of New Bedford, MA.  Originally built in 1903, the Mill was once a cotton and texture production mill, which has been reimagined into a industrial-chic wedding venue while still maintaining much of its original charm. This spacious 20,000 sq ft venue offers waterfront views, stellar sunsets, and four unique event spaces with the ability to accommodate up to 600 guests. Event Spaces 

The rooftop Terrace

Featuring sweeping views of the waterfront, this space is the perfect spot for open air wedding ceremonies. There is no better location to enjoy the sunset. 

The Ballrooms

The main event space at Kilburn Mill is divided into two ballrooms; The Dartmouth Room, holding up to 250 guests, and the expansive Kilburn Main Room with space to accommodate up to 600 guests. Both spaces feature original wide plank wood flooring, 20 ft high ceilings and 13 ft high windows allowing for beautiful natural lighting and views of Clarks Cove and Buzzards Bay. The Dartmouth room features wood ceilings and exposed beams illuminated by bistro style string lights. Each ballroom has its own adjoining cocktail space, the Gallery Room and the Textile Room.

The Hidden Garden Courtyard

Situated at the center of the mill lies the hidden garden courtyard. An unexpected open air oasis in the heart of the building, this location is a popular spot for photos and outdoor ceremonies. 

West Beach

Just steps away from the Mill is New Bedford’s West Beach. This beach provides a beautiful setting for beachfront wedding ceremonies and even features a covered pavilion to provide respite from the sun.
